My Mom stayed in the hospital all weekend. She sees the doctor tomorrow before she goes home. They say she had a blood clot that most likely started in her leg and made it’s way to her lungs. Apparently she did not have a CAT scan, just some tests to check her blood flow.

My Mom is doing ok. They got her heart in a regular rhythm before they left Lincoln, but once they got to Springfield, they found enlarged arteries around her lungs. Her echo was clear, but they are keeping her overnight and doing a CAT scan. We should know more tomorrow.

My Dad took my Mom into the ER this morning. She wasn’t feeling well and her blood pressure was high. They ran some tests at the hospital and found she had an irregular heartbeat, so they sent her off to Springfield to see a cardiologist. That’s all I know for now. I’ll keep this updated [...]
